The AUD/USD pair was supported by positive news about a possible agreement between the US and China. Now all attention is paid to US inflation, these data will determine the pair's next direction. Bulls seem to have exhaled during European trading, allowing the AUD/USD pair to gain a foothold near the level of 0.6760. There is currently no reason for a major shift until markets receive US inflation data, which could strengthen the positive momentum ahead of key trade negotiations between the US and China.
