According to Rogers, the world is on the verge of a new economic crisis that could flare up in the spring of 2025, the one comparable in scale to America’s Great Depression.
The expert suggests that this global crisis could begin even before spring, following Donald Trump’s inauguration. Rogers forecasts a high likelihood of an economic downturn that could escalate into a severe crisis.
In his view, the key problems in the global economy are the staggering growth of government debt in the US and other countries, as well as the protectionist policies of Trump’s administration. In this context, Rogers fears a repeat of the 1929 Great Depression scenario. Furthermore, he does not rule out the onset of a global recession, which he describes as the "worst-case scenario."
