从美元指数在MetaTrader（包括交易欧元/美元的主要及其他资产）的实际使用的角度来看，主流是界定美元指数和金融资产之间的发散和收敛。

  • 美元指数上升才情况下，相关的金融资产（如黄金，原油）也在上升，这意味着交易资产的价格曲线将扭转。同样，当指数和资产价格的下降，后者的价格逆转将在短期内发生。
  • 如果货币对的图表有下降的价格变动，而欧元指数线呈上升趋势，这表明价格和价值的指标之间的发散。这种情况意味着，不久货币对价格将开始上升。
  • 替代方案：如果价格上涨的情况下，美元指数有一个向下的移动，那么货币对价格的向下逆转可能很快会出现。
