Heute gewinnt das EUR/USD-Paar an positiver Dynamik und durchbricht damit eine sechstägige Verlustserie.

Der Aufwärtsimpuls hebt die Kassapreise in Richtung des Niveaus von 1,0785, was ein neues Tageshoch markiert. Die Aufwärtsbewegung wird durch einen schwächeren US-Dollar unterstützt, der sich von einem Dreiwochenhoch zurückgezogen hat und einen optimistischeren Ausblick für den Euro schafft.

Die jüngsten Maßnahmen von US-Präsident Donald Trump – darunter die Einführung von 25 % Zöllen auf importierte Autos, leichte Lastwagen sowie auf Stahl und Aluminium – sowie die bevorstehenden Gegenmaßnahmen am 2. April verunsichern den Markt und tragen zu dem Rückgang des U.S. Dollar Index bei. Dies wiederum unterstützt das EUR/USD-Paar, insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund der Prognose der Federal Reserve für zwei Zinssenkungen um jeweils 25 Basispunkte bis zum Jahresende.

Zudem bereitet die Europäische Union Gegenmaßnahmen als Reaktion auf die US-Zölle vor, was die Handelskonflikte verschärfen und das Risiko eines umfassenden Handelskriegs zwischen der EU und den USA erhöhen könnte. Dies lässt Händler vorsichtig bei aggressiven Long-Positionen im Euro sein. Darüber hinaus könnte der heutige schwächere Ton an den Aktienmärkten dem US-Dollar aufgrund seiner Rolle als sicherer Hafen Unterstützung bieten, was das Aufwärtspotenzial für EUR/USD begrenzt.

Um bessere Handelsmöglichkeiten zu identifizieren, sollte auf die Veröffentlichung des US-BIP-Berichts für das 4. Quartal, die wöchentlichen Erstanträge auf Arbeitslosenunterstützung und die anhängigen Hausverkäufe geachtet werden. Darüber hinaus könnten Reden von wichtigen Mitgliedern des FOMC Volatilität in den US-Dollar bringen und etwas Schwung in das EUR/USD-Paar bringen. Der Hauptfokus bleibt jedoch auf der Veröffentlichung des Core Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) Price Index am Freitag.

Technischer Ausblick: Wenn das Paar sich über dem Niveau von 1,0780 halten und die psychologische Marke von 1,0800 durchbrechen kann, wäre der Weg für weitere Gewinne geebnet. Dennoch bleibt die Unterstützung bei 1,0725 – wo derzeit der 200-Tage-SMA liegt – entscheidend. Ein Bruch darunter könnte zusätzlichen Verkaufsdruck auslösen. Die nächste Unterstützung liegt auf dem Niveau von 1,0700, gefolgt von dem 100-Tage-EMA nahe 1,0620. Solange die Oszillatoren auf dem Tageschart im positiven Bereich bleiben, scheint das EUR/USD-Paar entschlossen, sich zu behaupten.
