Long-term review

Le marché a accumulé beaucoup de positions courtes sur l'euro. Les traders vendent l'euro pendant sa croissance, en pariant que la Banque centrale européenne confirmera demain, le 10 avril, les perspectives «douces» de la politique monétaire. Mais si cela ne se produit pas, le marché sera déçu.

Aujourd'hui, la paire EURUSD se bat pour obtenir une direction, saluant la récente tentative haussière de percer dans la zone des 1,280. La paire tente d'évaluer les risques. À l'heure actuelle, l'EURUSD a rencontré une forte résistance autour de 1,280, provoquant une contraction corrective dans un contexte de tendance latérale du dollar et de rumeurs grandissantes sur les tarifs américains pour les produits de l'Union européenne.

En fait, après la déclaration de Donald Trump selon laquelle les États-Unis pourraient mettre en place des droits de douane de 1 milliard de dollars sur les produits de l'Union européenne, la spéculation a commencé à propos d'une guerre commerciale plus vaste qui pourrait finalement concerner le secteur automobile de l'UE.

Aujourd'hui seront publiées des données sur l'état des ventes au détail en Italie sont attendues.

Après la publication d'indicateurs fondamentaux faibles dans la zone euro et une forte croissance du dollar ces dernières semaines, l'euro reste sous pression. Dans un contexte de baisse de l'appétit pour le risque, le dollar devrait progresser parallèlement à l'euro.
