MGM Resorts International has a rich and long history. It was established in the US over 30 years ago, in 1986. This holding is within the purview of hotel and gambling businesses. Through its own subsidiaries, MGM owns and operates resorts and casinos. The company works in two segments: the American resorts and MGM China. In addition to hotel management, the company also sells food and beverages. Moreover, MGM, a subsidiary located in Nevada, specializes in the construction of real estate facilities for the recreation industry and gambling business.

MGM Resorts International also owns a portfolio of resort brands, including Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, and The Mirage. MGM Resorts controls 76% of the largest investment fund MGM Growth Properties LLC with three networks, which is engaged in the acquisition and rental services of large entertainment facilities. The company also owns 56% of MGM China Holdings Limited and 50% of CityCenter in Las Vegas, which includes large hotel complex ARIA Resort & Casino. The holding also has a stock of shares in MGM China, which owns MGM Grand Paradise and Macau that has control over resort and casino MGM Macau.

The company's securities are trading under the ticker symbol MGM.N on the New York Stock Exchange.
