Modelul Belt Hold este similar cu deschiderea "lumanarii" Marubozu fara ca "umbra" sa indice un pret deschis. TBelt Hold Bullish se formeaza prin deschiderea White Marubozu , ceea ce indica un trend descendent; in timp ce Bearish Belt Hold este format dintr-o inchidere Black Marubozu, care apare intr-un trend ascendent. Modelul se deschide la cote inalte, dar apoi preturile se misc impotriva tendintei pietei si inchide in jurul valorii minime.
Cu cat corpul modelului Belt Hold este mai lung, cu atat rezista mai mult trendului, impotriva caruia se misca.
La fel ca si alte modele de one-day, Belt Hold devine invalid daca este inconjurat de mai multe linii/candles similare.
1. Unul dintre captele candlestick nu are umbra.
2. Bullish Belt Hold se deschide la un nivel scazut si ii lipseste o " umbra" mai joasa.
3. Bearish Belt Hold se deschide la nivel inalt si ii lipseste o " umbra " superioar.
Un decalaj are loc in trendul actual, alaturi de directia trendului din timpul de deschidere a sesiunii. Toata ziua pretul va avea o directie opusa fata de trendul anterior. Pe parcursul zilei, pot fi pierdute mai multe pozitii, declasand astfel o inversare.
Nu incape loc pentru flexibilitate in cadrul modelului Belt Hold, deoarece consta intr-o singura "lumanare"/candlestick. Acest aspect face ca o zi de trading sa fie o zi lunga, comparativ cu zilele precedente.
Modelul nu se poate dezvolta din cauza structurii sale de "linie / lumanare" singura.
Modelul Belt Hold este simular cu deschiderea Marubozu, deoarece ambele " lumanari" sunt primele zile dintr-un sir mai lung de zile cu formatiuni mult mai complexe de candlestick.
