Indicatorul IFX-DPO (Detrended Price Oscillator) ajuta un trader sa se decida intre dintre divergenta sau convergenta diagramei pretului precum si sa determina punctul exact al schimbarii trendului pe piata. IFX-DPO se relationeaza cu indicatorii oscilatori. In plus, principiul de folosinta este similar cu cel al indicatorului Momentum.
DPO = CLOSE – SMA (CLOSE, (N / 2 + 1)), unde
SMA - este simple moving average;
CLOSE - este pretul de inchidere;
N - este durata unui ciclu.
IFX_DPO, un indicator folosit de calculator, este proiectat pentru a eliminarea o directie a trendului in fluctuatia pretului. Astfel, indicatorul face mai usoara identificarea ciclurilor precum si a nivelelor de supracumparare sau supravanzare de pe diagrama perechilor valutare.
Pe piata forex, ciclurile preturilor de long-term sunt constituite din cicluri scurte. Analiza ciclurilor de short-term ajuta la determinarea nivelelor inalte si joase. Indicatorul IFX_DPO permite traderului sa elimine impactul ciclurilor de long-term asupra miscari pretului. Ciclurile pot fi estimate numarand perioadele dintre peak si lows ( varf si baza). Se recomanda utilizarea unei perioade de 21 de cicluri pentru a reduce numarul semnalelor false.
In cazul in care linia DPO intersecteaza nivelul zero pe directia jos-sus, inseamna ca trendul urmeaza sa se schimbe din descendent in ascendent. Asadar, timpul este propice de cumparare. In mod invers, in cazul in care linia indicatorului traverseaza nivelul zero de sus in jos, trebuie sa vindem deoarece inseamna ca trendul se va schimba din bullish in bearish, adica din ascedent in descedente.
In plus, utilizand indicatorul IFX_DPO, traderii pot sa recunoasca cu usurinta semnalele divergente si convergente.
