"Given the resilient labor market, we now believe that the Federal Reserve’s rate-cutting cycle has ended," experts from Bank of America concluded, following the release of December's NonFarm Payrolls.
They also noted that inflation risks in the US economy have shifted toward the upside. Meanwhile, analysts at Goldman Sachs remain less definitive, still allowing for the possibility of one rate cut by the Federal Reserve in the coming year.
